MR. AMODU, RAZAAK OLUGBENGA (FNIM), (FCIPM).
DIRECTOR GENERAL
Mr. Razaak Olugbenga Amodu is a seasoned public administrator with decades of distinguished service in Lagos State. An alumnus of Lagos State University where he bagged a BA (Hons) degree and Masters in Public Administration. He thereafter proceeded to the University of Calabar for his postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and also obtained a certificate in library studies from Unilag Consult. He is a fellow and member of several reputable professional bodies reflecting his deep commitment to Leadership, Governance and Human capital development.
He began his career in 1991 with the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission and rose steadily through the ranks, serving as Librarian Officer, Head of Education, Council Manager, and thereafter as a Director at the Mainstream Service where he served across MDA’s such as Public Service Office (PSO), Women affairs & Poverty Alleviation, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs culminating in his current appointment as Director-General, Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau.
Beyond public service, Mr. Amodu is widely respected for his humanitarian contributions and vibrant social engagement. A committed member of Lions Club International, he has served on several state boards and received numerous awards for community service and philanthropy.
He is happily married with children and enjoys reading, sports, and meaningful social interactions.
